Whoops forgot some fun.

In the everyday adventures of a stay-at-home freelancer I tend to blend a bit of business and pleasure. Example- I find a great event and invite all my buddies and their little'uns with promises I will bring the big camera. I work on lifestyle and keep my eyes fresh and they get some great shots of the wee ones. Naomi was so fun, enveloped in a little world know just to her. Perhaps its because Naomi isn't as familiar with me, but I had a lot of fun catching her here and there, being herself.

How enjoyable - Oh to be three again.

Eureka! THE SHOT at last.

Yes, my children are quite possibly some of the most photographed children on the planet. Besides maybe Suri Cruise. They ignore me most of the time which is great because I can get some very spontaneous stuff but it does make the traditional portrait a little tough at times - You know the one when you want everyone to look good. But today, after about an hour and a little discovery about the tickle me Abomidabal snowman - I got it. I got it 10+ times - nailed that baby and put it to bed. Now I'm free to do my own thing until next Christmas right? Portrait season is taking a back burner as well and I'm firing up to launch myself on the west coast editorial circuit. Coming soon to a magazine near you - just check those bylines and maybe you'll see me soon. P.S. I decided to add the non smiley one - thought it was cuter.
