What is the difference between coaching and therapy?Coaching helps people achieve their goals, change behaviour, build skills, and modify their environment to better meet their needs. Coaches help people set priorities, discover their strengths, and master healthy habits. Coaching exists in the here and now. It is typically more strengths-based, collaborative, and ‘action-focused’. Therapy, on the other hand, is a process of helping clients process thoughts and feelings in a more adaptive way. Therapy often focuses on the past and has emotion-oriented goals. Both coaching and therapy are focused on helping people improve their lives by working through issues that may be hindering them. Coaching focuses on thriving while therapy focuses on coping. Coaching provides the structural support clients need to maximize their personal and professional potential through positive, long-term change.

What makes your coaches different from other ADHD coaches?I bring over 10 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, working in various mental health settings with individuals managing ADHD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. With a Master’s of Science in OT, I studied neuroscience, cognition, and executive function—simply put, I understand how the ADHD brain works. I use my expert knowledge to help you address the root causes of your challenges, guiding you to reach your goals faster with science-backed strategies. As someone with ADHD myself, I can understand and appreciate the challenges of living with ADHD--- I ‘get it.’ Our other coach, Mehreen, adds her clinical background as a certified practitioner in CBT and mindfulness, with years of experience as an academic strategist and in behaviour interventions. Together, we combine our expertise to offer tailored, evidence-based approaches that empower you to thrive. Our approach is personalized and evidence-based, designed to help you make meaningful, lasting changes. The results speak for themselves—our high demand often leads to a waitlist, reflecting the success our clients experience. By working with us, you’re choosing a team that deeply understands your challenges and is dedicated to helping you transform them into strengths. Let’s work together to help you thrive!
